📍 Denver’s Trusted Dent Repair Specialists
🚗 Restoring Perfection, One Dent at a Time

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a specialized technique that removes minor dents, dings, and creases from a vehicle’s body without the need for repainting or using fillers. This method preserves the original factory finish, maintains the vehicle’s value, and is environmentally friendly due to the absence of chemicals and paint.

PDR involves skilled technicians using specialized tools to gently massage and reshape the metal back to its original form from behind the damaged panel. This precise process ensures that the paint remains intact, resulting in a seamless repair.

Using innovative tools and state-of-the-art technology, Dented associates are able to work the damaged area on the vehicle and restore it to its original condition. The sculpting method is completed without the need for body fillers, sanding or painting as used by traditional auto body repair shops and is therefore more environmentally sensitive.

The traditional dent repair method involves removing the paint by grinding and sanding and then filling the dent with body fillers. A metal panel or part of a panel will in most cases be replaced with a new panel or a new metal area and this area is then painted. This process is costly and it involves using a considerable amount of electricity, new materials and requires the disposal of the old metal body panels. The Dented method of Autobody Enviro-Technology® simply uses a modest amount of electricity for lighting up the area being restored.

PDR is effective for:

  • Hail Damage: Restoring vehicles affected by hailstorms.
  • Door Dings: Repairing minor dents from parking lot incidents.
  • Creases: Addressing sharp or deep dents without paint damage.
  • Minor Collision Damage: Fixing small dents where the paint remains unbroken.

However, PDR may not be suitable for dents with cracked paint, sharp edges, or extensive damage.

Dented associates can remove a wide range of different sized dents, from small door dings to larger panel dents. We can repair most dents from most vehicles, however if the damage cannot be removed using Autobody Enviro-Technology®, our Dented associates will advise the client of this before starting any repairs and will refer the client to a reputable autobody repair shop.

  • Cost-Effective: Generally more affordable than traditional repair methods due to reduced labor and material costs.
  • Time-Saving: Most repairs can be completed within a few hours, minimizing vehicle downtime.
  • Maintains Vehicle Value: Preserves the original paintwork, which is crucial for resale value.
  • Environmentally Friendly: Eliminates the need for paints and solvents, reducing environmental impact.

Thanks to our virtual estimate tool, we can provide you with an initial estimate for the work to be done on your car by simply reviewing pictures and video of your car, when you upload it to the system. Once we begin working on your car using our Autobody Enviro-Technology®, we can fix your vehicle, in most cases, within hours or days.

It’s quick, inexpensive, and restores your car’s body to a like-new condition. PDR is great for circular dents that are caused by hail, bumps from other cars and objects, and just about any round dent that leaves the paint undamaged.

Yes, PDR offers a permanent repair. Once a dent has been properly removed using PDR techniques, it does not return. The metal is restored to its original position, ensuring lasting results.

PDR is a car maintenance skill that requires a high degree of training and experience. Often it takes a more thorough approach than most to avoid affecting the surrounding paint and to carefully reach the precise position of the dent. And don’t forget the specialized and varied equipment needed to pull it all off.

In severe cases, PDR may not be able to completely erase the appearance of the crease. However, PDR can go a long way towards smoothing out the metal and making the damage almost invisible with a minimal amount of effort, especially when compared with conventional methods of repairing a fender.

While our Taskers are experienced professionals who can fix most types of dents, their skills and materials are limited to cuts that can be considered cosmetic. Extreme dents, such as those that crumple the boot or bonnet, or dents that deform doors and bend the car’s frame are beyond the scope of our services.

The duration of the PDR process varies based on the extent of the damage. Minor dents and dings can often be repaired in as little as an hour, while more extensive hail damage may require a day or two. At Auto Buddy, we strive for efficient turnaround times to get you back on the road promptly.

Mobile car dent repair services include repairing minor and major dents. These can be addressed with paintless dent repair or dent repair with scratched paint, depending on the severity of the case.

Paintless Dent Repair

For minor dents, mobile car dent repair specialists will prepare the problem areas by thoroughly cleaning it. Heat treatment with the combination of suction lifting tools to “pop” the dent and bring the dented regions to its original form may be used.

Scratched Paint Dent Repair

For more severe dents, such as those that also have areas where the paint is scratched, mobile car dent and scratch repair is advised. Taskers will begin by making a thorough inspection of the dent, checking for the extent of the scratch on the paint. The area will be cleaned and dried to remove any debris.

Heat treatment will be applied to return the dent to its original shape. If the heat treatment does not address the issue, body filler may be used to re-shape the area. Once the dent has been repaired, the next step is to fix the scratch. The area will be sanded down to bare metal, and primer sprayed on it. After letting the primer dry, succeeding coats of the car’s paint and clear coat will be applied. Drying and cleaning steps will, of course, be performed in between layers.
